Transferable tax credit on qualifying spend in Colombia for international productions. After monetization, the net effective return is around 28%.
National incentive10–20%
Medellín cash rebate
Cash rebate on qualifying spend in the city, stackable with the national incentive. The 20% rate applies to co-productions with above-the-line teams from Medellín.

Leadership
Award-winning screenwriter, director, producer and showrunner. He studied film at EICTV in Cuba, directed film institutes in Brazil, and has led productions across Latin America, Europe and North America.
Juan Zapata
Director, producer and showrunner
A native of New York, he has worked in film since 2007. He graduated in History and Cross-Cultural Perspectives from Hobart College in Geneva, NY, and has been executive producer at Zapata Filmes since 2013.
Douglas Limbach
Executive producer
Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil. A computer science graduate, he has held executive roles at several multinational IT companies. Since 2015 he has been an international producer at Zapata Filmes, coordinating investment for co-productions.
Dael Filchtiner Linke
Executive producer
A Colombian lawyer and entrepreneur with more than ten years of experience in international brand strategy and audiovisual production. He leads creative production on series, documentaries and fiction feature films.
